NQ Vulnerability Killer 1.4.7

Oldboot is the first discovered virus from the Bootkit type on Android platform. The Bootkit technology can load the malicious software into memory before operating system kernel when turning on the mobile phone, and realize the hijacking of the mobile operating system. This Trojan can arbitrarily modify the boot partition of the devices and starting configuration script, which makes a lot of applications installed on the mobile phone without the permissions from the user. All these applications mentioned above usually incorporate many adware or malicious software, which harass the mobile users maliciously.

Finally, and most unsettling, is the potential for a hacker to take advantage of the always-on, always-connected, and always-moving (therefore hard-to-detect) nature of these “zombie” mobile devices to create a botnet.
